Nicholas H. LaMotte
Nick is the Founder of Pentra, a company whose mission is to develop, manage, and improve employee benefit programs to help employers focus more on their core business. Pentra is retained by those companies wanting to be highly proactive in their pursuit of controlling health care costs as well as maximizing the value of their employee benefits program.
Prior to forming Pentra (as Integrated Benefit Services), Nick was a Senior Manager in the Human Resource Consulting practice of Peat Marwick where he participated in a number of national practice teams and was an active speaker for the Employers Council on Flexible Compensation. Previously, he was a Vice President in the employee benefits department of Alexander & Alexander. His years of experience in the Employee Benefits field have given Nick the opportunity to experience the perspectives of employers, employees, and service vendors in a wide range of industries. Nick’s experience, coupled with an awareness of current market trends, aids in both the balance and success in his role guiding Pentra in a strategy of client-focused growth.
Nick is a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) and holds a Masters of Business Administration Degree from the Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in history from the University of Pennsylvania.
